This months featured member is Nick (cherp85ss) and his 1992 Ford Mustang LX.  This specific car is a low mileage (62,000 miles) ex-UPH car.  Originaly the car had high hopes as a Chevy swapped in LS series motor.  But it looks like the car itself had another thing in mind.  As Nick explains himself what happened when he first bought the Mustang: “I’ve had the car since February 2007.    First off I’m a DIE HARD GM guy…"

"...I picked up the car with it intention of having a semi-fun daily driver. With the plans of turning it into a LSx powered drag car. But after driving it home from SLC the first day, things have slightly changed.  I was impressed buy just how responsive the whole car felt. (I’ve done some suspension modifications, and fixed a few small engine problems since I’ve had it)  And the more I do to the car the better it feels. Instead of building an all out drag car, I’m going more for a Canyon killer.  I couldn’t go back now; I’ll find something else to go fast in a straight line in now.  So far it’s been a great car, and a great investment. I love it! I never thought I could be this pleased with a Ford product.”
